Coconut Chai is an ayurvedic blend that combines earthy aromatic spices and dried coconut with Assam black tea as its base. One of our best sellers, this blend is a morning or afternoon pick-me-up, packing caffeine that lifts you up but never crashes you or leaves you with irritability and jitters, and is a well-rounded, spicy black tea brew with creamy coconut undertones.

The Traditional Indian Way - Mix 1 fully heaped tablespoon of Coconut Chai, 1 cup of water, and 1 cup milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. At any point during the boiling process, you may add your sweetener or not. Remove from heat and strain into a mug or pitcher and enjoy! Chai can also be enjoyed over ice.

How To Prepare
Heat fresh, filtered water just short of the boiling point, do not let the water boil. If the water does boil (because we forget at times to check), turn the fire off and let the water sit fir 10 minutes to cool down to at least 80 deg Celsius
Add 1 full tablespoon of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
Pour the heated water into the mug.
Steep for 3-5 minutes.
Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
Add sweetener or not, and enjoy. This blend also makes a good cold iced tea.
